Jack sighed, shoving his sunglasses in his inner pocket of his jacket. He gave some steps walking across the room, remembering the day that he recieved the call from Dr. Lecter, the day that Will’s insanity surpassed his boundaries. Did he was a killer? The thoughts of his mind were interrupted by a particular noise.
He backed in his footsteps and followed the noise until he found Winston sitting on the floor of the entrance.
“Hey Winston.” The agent crouched petting the caramel fur, giving some words at the animal until they both entered again in the house.
Jack stopped again in the middle of the room, sunk in his thoughts while the canine was wandering around but suddenly a slight hit of his leg brought him back to earth. He lowered his head and saw how the animal was wrapping his leg with his forepaws with the clear intention to mount him. “Hey boy, come on…” Crawford let out a small chuckle and pushed the dog off from his leg. “I know, both need some caring, but not in this way, let’s go, come here.” He patted the dog’s back and sat down on the bed, then his hand began to caress again Winston fur as he laid next to him after have jumped on the mattress.
